SAND
2003 is a CGI extravaganza with world leaders in 3D animation,
computer games, VR and AI presenting their most recent work
and discussing contemporary issues. SAND 2003 is also a meeting
place to see new work, exchange ideas, and create new project
opportunities. |
| SAND
is a prestigious, international digital animation event that
is establishing Wales as a premier location for leading animation
business. SAND also encourages the convergence of animation,
CGI and other digital technologies to create commercially exploitable,
innovative content for a variety of markets world-wide. |
SAND
2003 is the 4th annual CGI event organised by Swansea
Institute and will be held again at the Taliesin
Theatre, Swansea, South Wales on 26-29 November 2003. The
expanded SAND 2003 is a direct result of SAND 2002 which drew
over 400 media companies and enthusiasts from around the world. |
The
organisers are building more into this coming year's event,
with an extra day of presentations and practical workshops from
leading specialists and screenings
of new CGI films and shorts from around the world, based on
requests from delegates and presenters. |

years speakers include DreamWorks plc, Glassworks Ltd, Industrial
Light & Magic, IBM, One, Lionhead Studios, Primal Pictures
Ltd, Artem Digital and Jester Interactive. |

speakers include Aardman Animation, Alias Wavefront, Codemasters,
